We are aware that, from time to time, our firm is the subject of mail spoofing attacks that target various individuals, including some clients of Barnard Incorporated.
These fraudulent emails purport to come from, for example, team members in our Accounts Department and concern so-called settlement or outstanding account matters. However, they originate from unauthorised sources, including suspicious or compromised domains, and may include attachments or links.
Please be assured that we adhere to the requirements of POPIA and our systems and your data remain remain our highest priority.
Do not open any suspicious attachments.
Verify the sender address carefully.
