As a Senior Associate in the Commercial Law department, Johané heads up the Property Law practice for Barnard Inc. She is an admitted notary and conveyancer and is actively involved in the drafting and executing of property transfers, security bonds and other conveyancing related matters. Apart from property-related matters, Johané also deals with commercial law requirements such as the drafting and reviewing of agreements.

Johané obtained her BCom Law degree in 2013 and her LLB degree in 2014 – at the University of Pretoria. During her studies she was invited to become a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society for her academic achievements.
Johané began her professional career in 2015 as a Candidate Attorney at Barnard Inc. and has been practicing in the Commercial Law department ever since. She was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in August 2016.
