We are looking for an accountant to join our Finance Department. The accountant will be responsible to process all financial transactions and monthly creditors, petty cash by investing in own personal development, living the Barnard fundamentals and adhere to all the policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum education (essential): NQF 5 Diploma in Finance (Recognition for prior learning (RPL) based on years of experience and knowledge gained will be granted to those already in the position).
Preferred education: BCom Accounting
Minimum applicable experience: 2 – 3 years’ experience within accounting function
Preferred applicable experience: 3 – 4 years’ experience within an accounting function. Experience within a law firm will be advantageous.
Legal Requirements:
- Valid code driver’s license
- Passed medical exams
- Passed credit and criminal checks
- SA citizen or valid work permit for SA
- Own transport
