Eloise is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Litigation team at Barnard Incorporated. She has more than six years of experience in resolving complex commercial disputes, with particular expertise in insolvency, credit law and contractual litigation. Clients value her precise and pragmatic approach, particularly in high-pressure scenarios where commercial outcomes are paramount.

 

Her practice includes advising on liquidations, contractual disputes, credit recovery actions and general litigation for medium and large businesses. Eloise manages all stages of the litigation process, from developing and reviewing litigation strategies to drafting pleadings and providing clear, outcome-focused advice. She also draws on her commercial law knowledge to assist with complex matters such as tax implications, share subscriptions and regulatory compliance. This makes her a well-rounded adviser across contentious and non-contentious commercial matters.

 

Eloise holds BCom Law and LLB degrees from North West University, both awarded with distinction, and was admitted as an attorney in 2016.
